Come and enjoy a Taste of Bavaria at our 'OKTOBERFEST'

By popular demand, following our two, previously very successful events, we invite you to join us for a "Taste of Bavaria" an (Oktoberfest) evening at Apperley Village Hall, on Saturday 27th. September, 2008. The event is open to Members, their Guests, and prospective Members. The ticket cost £10 each, and all cheques should be made payable to Tewkesbury District Twinning Association.

Entertainment will be provided, once again, by 'Barry Schmidt and his Bavarian Band'. With his help we hope to create a convivial 'Bavarian' atmosphere, as you enjoy a glass (or two!) of beer together with a traditional style platter, served at the interval.

Bavarian dress is not essential but feel free to interpret the evening's theme as you wish!

If you have family, friends or work colleagues who would like to join our Twinning Association, this is an ideal time as the membership subscription is still only £10 (single) and £15 (family). Membership has been described as 'The key link to real Bavarian culture'! A prompt reply for tickets would be appreciated and would also avoid disappointment, as the two previous events sold out!
